Associate Attorney
Attorney Lisa Long is a native of Camp Hill, PA and a graduate of Camp Hill High School. She received her undergraduate degree, a bachelor of arts in English literature and Political Science, from Gettysburg College and earned a Juris Doctor of Law from Widener University School of Law. While in law school Lisa participated in trial advocacy as well as the Harrisburg Civil Law Clinic as a student attorney. During her tenure there she was able to satisfy her desire to help others in her community, advocating for indigent clients in the areas of family law, elder law, property law, and administrative law. In 2013 she was admitted to both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bar.
Lisa’s career reflects a diverse background in business, public policy, special education and family law. Through her work in the healthcare industry, Lisa developed competitive negotiating and analytical skills. Lisa is a fierce and determined problem solver. Her experience in the Pennsylvania legislature as a staff attorney required her to assimilate diverse constituent interests along with drafting legislation to solve complex public policy issues involving Pennsylvania’s environmental resources and energy concerns. Consequently, she is well equipped to shepherd clients to resolution through complex and sometimes contentious family issues.
Personal dedication to the practice of family law grew from her own experience with custody and divorce issues. When she was granted custody of her two nieces, one with intellectual disability, Lisa discovered a deep passion to advocate for children with disabilities and for families with unique circumstances. Thus, empathy and compassion drive and inspire Lisa to help families achieve their legal objectives, which align with Grace Legal Offices’ Mission.
